GCDA has recently been awarded a grant to roll out a series of creative writing workshops under the Greenwich Black History 365 initiative. The workshops which will start in 2026, will be led by Scribes with Vibes, a group formed by four people who met more than two years ago whilst attending GCDA Learning’s Creative Writing course. Now they in their turn will share the skills and knowledge that they have built up with other would-be writers and performers in the community. It’s a wonderful example of how empowering GCDA’s Adult Learning’s programme can be. Further information to follow on our GCDA Learning website.
