Increased publicity in 2020 for the plight of thousands of UK children who go hungry during the school holidays has given added impetus to GCDA’s local holiday meals programme. Commissioned by Royal Greenwich and delivered by GCDA (supported by partners GS Plus, CACT and GLL), 400 packed lunches a day were prepared and delivered at six venues around the borough over Christmas and the New Year. This half term we have been busy making more packed lunches for distribution at a variety of community spaces from 15th – 19th February. You can check the RBG website for details here.
