After Jacqui Shimidzu took sole responsibility of the Hill Station in 2015 she continued to build on the solid foundations you and so many others had laid, including Stephen Carrick-Davies.
Her generosity, collaborative and creative approach helped to embed the HS in the community, making it a space for everyone. In fact her passion for supporting initiatives that are run for and by our friends and neighbours resulted in practical support for many under-resourced grassroots community groups.
The time has come to lend the Hill Station a hand.
Today, almost a decade on from its inception, the Hill Station has taken stock, listened to the community and is embarking on a programme of improvements and a change in company organisation.
These changes will not only deliver a more sustainable, professional, quality cafe service but just as importantly will allow the Jacqui and the team to continue to support community led projects for some our most vulnerable neighbours.
